Thin double sided tape factory– this is a seemingly simple thing. But in reality, in order to do it efficiently, you need to understand many nuances: from choosing a polymer base to controlling humidity in the workshop. Many novice entrepreneurs, seeing the apparent simplicity, underestimate the complexity of production. At our company, Enping Sanli Adhesive LLC, we understand this especially well. We have been working in this field since 1997, and during this time we have accumulated a lot of experience. In this article I want to share some thoughts and observations that I hope will be useful to those who are interested in the production of such products.
Let's start from the very beginning. Productiondouble sided tape, especially thin ones, includes several key steps: preparing the polymer base, applying an adhesive layer, laminating and cutting. Each of these stages requires strict control and adherence to certain technologies. For example, choosing a polymer is a whole science. Polyurethane, acrylic, rubber - each has its own properties, advantages and disadvantages. And the adhesion, heat resistance, elasticity and other characteristics of the finished product will depend on which polymer you choose.
It is especially important to pay attention to the quality of the adhesive layer. The role of precursors and additives is often underestimated here. Poor quality adhesive can lead to poor adhesion, rapid fading, or even the tape peeling off. For example, we experimented for a long time with various compositions before we found the optimal option for our products. At the same time, you should not chase the most expensive ingredients. Sometimes a more economical option may be just as good, and sometimes even better.
And, of course, we must not forget about lamination and cutting technologies. Lamination protects the adhesive layer from external influences, and cutting sets the final shape of the product. Poor quality cutting can lead to defects and reduced consumer properties. We use high-precision laminating and cutting equipment, which allows us to produce tape with high precision and quality.
One of the most common problems in productionadhesive tapes– this is humidity. Humidity can negatively affect the properties of the polymer base and adhesive layer, reduce adhesion and even lead to product deformation. In Enping, where our factory is located, the problem of humidity is particularly acute due to its proximity to the sea coast. Therefore, we pay special attention to humidity control at all stages of production.
To do this, we use special dehumidifiers and ventilation systems. We also carefully monitor the quality of raw materials and store them in dry rooms. Sometimes difficulties arise with suppliers who do not provide proper moisture-proof packaging, which leads to problems during storage. Unfortunately, this is a fairly common practice, and extra effort must be made to minimize the risks.
Several times we encountered situations where humidity led to defective batches of products. It was necessary to remove defective material from production and recycle it. This, of course, is not very pleasant, but it allows us to constantly improve the technological process and improve product quality.
The following measures apply:
Thin double-sided tape, unlike thicker analogs, is used in various fields: in electronics, medicine, advertising and other industries. And each of these areas requires its own special characteristics. For example, high temperature resistance is important for electronics, and biocompatibility is important for medicine.
We produce a wide rangedouble sided tapewith different properties: with different adhesion, heat resistance, elasticity and resistance to chemicals. And we are constantly working to expand the range and improve the quality of products. One of the latest projects is the development of a new type of tape for medical use. This tape is highly biocompatible and hypoallergenic, making it safe for use on the skin.
The most difficult task is to combine all the necessary characteristics in one product. For example, for use in the automotive industry, adhesive tape is required that is resistant to temperature changes and ultraviolet radiation. And for use in packaging - adhesive tape, which has high adhesion and strength.
Quality control is an integral part of the production process. We use modern equipment and control methods to ensure that our products meet all requirements and standards. Each batch of products undergoes strict quality control, which includes testing of adhesion, strength, heat resistance and other parameters.
We also certify our products in accordance with international standards. We currently have ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications. This confirms that we maintain high standards of quality and safety.
It is no secret that there are many unscrupulous manufacturers on the market who sell products of poor quality. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to certificates of conformity and the reputation of the manufacturer. We are always happy to provide our customers with all the necessary information about our products and our certificates.
Productiondouble sided tape– This is an ever-evolving industry. New materials, new technologies, and new requirements for product quality appear. We follow all trends and constantly introduce innovations into our production process. For example, we are currently working on developing a new type of tape based on a biodegradable polymer. This will allow us to reduce our impact on the environment.
We also plan to expand our product range with new types of adhesive tape for use in various industries. We are especially interested in developments in the field of electronics and medicine.
Overall, we are confident that the futureproduction of double-sided tapefor innovation and environmental friendliness. We will continue to work to improve the quality of our products and reduce our environmental impact.
