The third phase of the 137th Canton Fair (theme "Better Life") opened on May 1, 2025 and ended on May 5. The total exhibition area was 515,000 square meters, with 12,043 participating companies operating at 21 exhibition sites in five main sectors: toys, maternity and baby products, fashion and home textiles.
Optimizing the scale and structure of the exhibition
Exhibitors: 11,759, including 849 brand companies and more than 1,600 first-time companies. More than 2,200 leading enterprises were represented, including national high-tech companies and specialized "small giants", more than 100 more than the previous time.
Economic and trade achievements and customer data
Overseas Buyers: The three stages of the exhibition attracted a total of 288,900 buyers from 219 countries and regions, up 17.3% from the previous year. Buyers from countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative accounted for 64.9% of the total. 2. Transaction volume: The planned volume of export transactions reached 25.44 billion US dollars, an increase of 3% compared to the previous year. The main drivers of growth were emerging markets (South America and Southeast Asia).
